it's just not something to be removed...there's no gain 'cept gas fumes and a un-vented gas tank.

gold eg:
did you have the swap done by a guy in his storage unit/shop???

He wanted to remove it to clean up the engine bay.

If nothing else, it could just be relocated somewhere else.

For the charcol canisters just cap off both of the lines and buy a Vented gas cap.. Problems solved.. Thats what all the MKIII supra guys do and noone has experianced any problems

Cool. Yeah the only reason I am doing this is to Make room for notching. I am not worried about performance or gas mileage. The truck might get 100 miles put on it per year. Isn't the end if the gas line vented? If not I might be able to put a different line on beacause I relocated it into the rear fender well and it cinked the line a little so it take 20 minutes to put 5 gallons of gas in it.

i'll agree that a vented cap may do the trick, but i'm not really into it. anyway, if you're notching the frame, i would just relocate it. just my opinion. it would take nothing to do it.
