also what if i just use a very thin head gasket to help bump up the compression....i know it wont help a ton but its a thought.

I have 2500 to put towards a head and some kind of engine management. I can get tuned for free.

Why don't you build up the block as well. . This prolly has been answered, but what motor do you have?

Dude is anyone forgetting some kind of built trans and the ever-so-powerfull NOS. Build your head, get high compression pistons, tune it, get a good trans with lsd and spray. It'll be nasty, and not to mention an easy build.

I believe he said gsr swap. Get a vtec controller too, I'm not sure if they help too much cuz i dont really deal with vtec but it might do you some good.

The VTEC controller is alright, It pretty much just lets you set your vtec to engage at whatever RPM as well as change your air/fuel ratio. I think the best Cam setup has already been mentioned about the Jun and skunks. Jake pretty much said the beautifulist setup for the best money to get you to run. Just remember at the same time. You can have power, but if your suspension is weak, thats wasted motion and suspension is key in racing, IDC what anyone says.
