Which afr (air fuel ratio) is leaner(less fuel) 13 or 8?

Before you put your foot too far into your mouth about someone's lack of knowledge...

13 is not a ratio. It is just a number.

8 is not a ratio, it is just a number..

Learn what a ratio is.

I'll help you out... It has something to do with comparing TWO numbers.

Ok sorry for the misinformation. It's 13:1 and 8:1 1 part fuel 13 parts air...correct?
This was the message I was trying to relay. I know what a ratio is, I just figured the "to 1" was understood. I guess you can never be to sure ...never assume anything is understood.
But Thanks Fabriks .

There's a reason no one uses D series motors (and you are not original and neither is your POS car)

From your posts, it sounds like you should never get behind the wheel of a vehicle, none the less build one.

They shouldn't even let you ride a tricycle down the sidewalk without proper supervision, and a football helmet.

And what is that? I just finished a d16 build and it was fun, inexpensive, and easy to work with. I would like to know this reason why no one uses D series motors.

They're weak, they don't breathe well, intake and exhaust valves share a cam, the list goes on. But, they're cheap and plentiful, if that makes up for their lack of...everything else..
