honda suspension help
i was trying to lower my car and i was attempting to undo the bolt through the strut connected to the lower control arm. the bolt spins but doesn't back out. i even impacted it. i think if i drop my lower control arm i could do put the springs on that way. but i would just be avoiding a problem. its the drivers side back lower control arm on a 2003 civic si ep hatch. help is needed for a seized bolt
its a McPherson strut setup btw
sorry for the doo doo pic. its 12 at night and cold as shit so i took it quick

Re: honda suspension help
Had the same problem on a RSX. I was on a lift and had done 3 out of 4 lowering springs. Had to drop the control arm to get the last lowering spring on. Told dude who owned the car that he would need to cut the bolt heads off, drill or beat the bolt out and replace the bushing and bolt. Not sure if he ever did this but if he wants to change out struts he'll run into it again.
