To get to the vtec solenoid now you need to take the lower timing cover off. Just act like you're changing a timing belt...once you take the cover off....boom, you will see it.

Thats only for V8 motors...... On the Hondas it is located just aft of the muffler bearing casing.

what about removeing the kinepitty pin....he is liable to hurt himself without the proper tools...
