I'm assuming this is what ur bolts look like now.
I just used aircraft stripper and a wire brush to get all the lock tight off of the threads, and wire brushed the rest of the bolt.
this should be ur end result.

doing what eg2si seems to be time consuming, but yes, putting the bolts in coke should help remove road grime/ corrosion

took it off pretty good.
but ill still try coke see what works better

If you know a reloader: Put them in a tumbler with walnut shells (or equivalent)...this is how ammo re loaders clean and re-use brass shell casings.
