I NEED HELP
OK so i need peoples opinion on a little baby swap lol...i have a 97 civic hx 5spd and i can get a motor, tranny, and ecu for a good price my question is would it be worth the time and extra money to do a sohc 2.2 f22b swap to my car...and if so im going to need a little info its my first major thing to a car beside dropping a newer d16y5 into mine and a chevy motor into a 78 camaro other than that i dont have much experience thanks and have a good day

f22 is the same as doing a h22. if you dont have much experience and no one willing/able to help you, i would just stick to another d-series, so you can essentially drop it in and start it up.

My point is that its hardly any better. Even worse if you are trying to mod the motor. No one messes with the SOHC F series.
If the F22 is free, and you obv had a D series in it, sell the 2 and get a better motor.
You could LS swap it ez mode, and be way better off.

i mean to be honest, id love to swap in a (boosted) f23 in a civic, but the headache of shift cables, making room for the motor mounts, etc isnt worth the headache.
