I've seen code 14 pop up quite a few times on cars, he is describing a up and down (bouncing) idle which is indicative of a vacuum leak.
When you do the intake you remove a lot of old vac. hoses that could be brittle.

wow, how dumb could i be, i called my brother other and he found out that there was a leak in the manifold connected to the motor , sum of the old gasket had been left on , causin a leak, which i.e caused it to tach up / bog up and down, thx for the help everyone
