weak fuse. like if it needed a 30 and he had 15s, couldnt that have blwn it?

no no no, if i add a bigger fuse than its suppose to be it's going to fry some wires...

Does the radio have a dim mode for when you turn the lights on? Make sure you wired it correctly into the radio's addapter harness. No other wires on a radio should have anything to do with or affect the ligths.

since i did the ghetto way [twist & tape] im going to get some connectors.
