And the car ran fine before the manifold swap? How long did it sit for?

Did you have the IAB output disabled in the ECU program?

If there are no CEL's, everything is hooked up correctly, the distributor or ECU wasn't exposed to any moisture ect. then I have no clue. Unless you have some whack program burned in.
The only time I've had a honda that wouldn't rev past a certian throttle percentage was when my TPS was out of whack and also I had a faulty ECU in one case.

So I replaced the IACV cause the one I was using was OBD2. no change. Replaced the throttle body gasket cause it was leaking. no change. switched the plugs at the TPS and the MAP, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT! and no change. replaced the MAP, no change. the dizzy is brand spankin new. the rotor is as well. just set the timing at 18 BTDC. the car ran like a champ before the manifold swap. I have a set of OBD2 injectors I could try and wire them up cause theyre obviously larger. but id have to modify the clips. TPS shouldnt be out cause it is still secured with the factory studs. I unpluged it while the car was idling.CHECK ENGINE LIGHT! and no change, other than the idle fluctuating HARD. I checked for leaks using 2+2 carb cleaner spraying it around possible leaks and listening for a bog. only had one at the TB. I didnt check the bottom side of the manifold. I am going to today. If it helps the ECU was tuned but I have not verified that. TODA spec B cams (were working fine before the manifold swap), FIDANZA 8lb flywheel.

SO! News. I switched the TPS plug and the MAP plug again. guess what. SHE REVS! but the CEL is screaming at me. I havent ran the codes yet but im almost positive itll tell me the TPS and the MAP are bad. can anyone tell me why this made my car work? Im almost positive it has something to do with the signal to how much fuel to give. before I guess I wasnt geting enough fuel. I bet she is running RICH AS FUCK. Started smoking when she finally hit 7K in the driveway. But I assume its just the richness. cause it never did it before. but back to the subject at hand. Why is my CEL on, the wires in the wrong place, but the car runs like nothing was ever changed.
