Default integra issues...

whats good va, I got a lil issue. I've just got a 95 integra that's been pretty idle for a while. It starts up n all, but when i rev up the engine it won't go past 3500 rpms. I'm thinking it may be because the fuel line might be cluttered, but that's just me. I'm kinda new to fixing up cars n some feedback would be much appreciated.

Sounds like it's in safe mode, check your ECU, should be under the carpet on the passenger side and count how many times it flashes. Then let us know, probablly just a bad sensor somewhere. O2 sensor may be a good guess. Does it idle or run rough?

a little more info or being able to see the car would help. could be numerous things that could be causing the problem. clogged fuel filter, water in the gas, jumped timing, really need more info to properly diagnose the situation.

i have still yet to figure out what a "dizzy" is

Ya know, i just stuck a 94 GSR B18 in my 99 Civic. Same problem. However, i've been thru about 2 weeks of rewiring the ECU, and im told the VTEC needs to be wired. If i figure this out, ill let ya know what i did.

yea i don't know what a dizzy is either. but i did put new fuel into the car... it may be a clogged fuel filter. it does have a fuel rail in it. I wish i knew how to bleed the bastard. & how would i jump the timing... sorry if I'm asking dumb questions. I really want to get this thing running. especially due to the rise in gas prices... it's crazy man.
