i dont know how many times i have to tell people this. its most likley your ignition control module or the igniter. there the same thing.. its in your dizzy.. its the box thats held with 2-3 screws depending on the dizzy. it has 4 wires going to it that are clipped in. it controls everything from your tachometer to your starter. if it goes bad you wont be able to start. i had the same problem when i swaped a gsr. replaced that and the tach worked again and i could start it.

This guy has no clue what he is talking about.
If the starter clicks or turns at all, then the circuit is functional. Which means there is nothing wrong the ignition control module.
Also the starter may be faulty. The Problem with testing at Advance Auto is that the starter is not LOAD tested. If there was a fly wheel in front of the starter for it to try and turn it probably wouldn't do jack. It takes more AMPs flowing through that starter to turn a fly wheel than to spin its shaft alone. Does this make sense?

I think enot767 found he had this problem and figured it out, so now whenever someone else has an issue he assumes its the same problem he had. lol. I bet all the auto parts stores sold out of ignition control module do to you telling your buddies to replace them

This may sound funny but we sell alot of these at work and I've seen the same thing happen to an 93 accord. Your ignition switch may have gone bad, or it could be that infamous main relay, weird that this all happend when you replaced the alt. Good luck bro
