Re: Just got my Innovative motor mounts in. Question.
Hmm. Then I wonder if I can just send back the 3-post mount to Innovative, exchange it for the 2-post. I've already emailed them; just waiting on a response. Just installed the passenger's side, and it was cake... as expected.

Hell, I messaged three Innovative vendors on H-T and never got a response from one. Messaged a Hasport vendor and got a response in two hours. I think that says something for the quality of Hasport, they don't let just anyone sell their stuff.

As I would hope so. However, I got these off of Ebay through an "authorized vendor," but I only paid $255 shipped for the kit. What kind of customer service should I expect. I usually always buy off Ebay, but I buy name brand stuff.

You can get them for that price, and even cheaper (I've seen $247) on H-T.

Well, good news: they emailed me back and said that if I mail it back to California, with the tracking number, based on the condition of the item (obviously brand new), they'll issue me an exchange/refund.

Actually, I wonder if it'd be possible to go to a junkyard and find a three post bracket and mount it to my engine, so that I can use my three post mount. Thoughts?

I would actually do that. Shouldn't be too hard to do. I'm sure someone even has one laying around. I know I have had a few over the years. I personally like hasport a lot better. Bought a set of innovative 2 years ago, and within 500 miles, the rear mount started coming apart. Saw chunks of the urethane, big chunks, ive had 2 sets of hasports and never had an issue.

I guess my biggest concern is, I wonder if the 3 post and 2 post brackets are interchangeable, so that I don't have to send mine back for the 2 post mount.
