a little help needed for my ef

ITS THE BUSHINGS. I BET YALL CASH MONEY. LOL the tranny bolt on the linkage wouldnt cause it to have that much play. dude get under your car, take the bolt off that holds the shifter and linkage together and look at your bushing. and then say dam he was right, and get in your car go to pep boys and buy some bushings. they are only 15 bucks.

As much as I'm sure it's the bushing, how can you say the pin wouldn't cause a lot of play. If its a smaller diameter than the hole the it will move untill it makes contact causing lots of play.

Now i'm not saying the bushings wont cause excessive play, i'm just saying that the owner needs to check many things.

yeah you need to just get under the car and have a look see cant be but a few things to cause it cant believe a loose shifter thread has made it this far.

I will put money that is is the joint behind the bitch pin on the linkage. I had the exact same problem with my DA. Replace the shift linkage.

Ok, now that everyone has named the obvious shit that could be wrong(aka everything underneith the car.) How about the OP look under the car and figure it out.

haha yboost you owe someone 100$ becuase i just got under the car today, come to find out the bushings are still good, its the pin for the linkage itself that goes to the tranny it has serious play, anyone know how i can replace this
