Why the fuck do people recommend CTR pistons?

Research motherfuckers before you recommend that shit.

not exactly what i meant.

CTR style/forged/heat treated pistons.

Tell me why these are bad pistons for N/A? because of how big the dome is? over revving? so what. every honda part is a dime a dozen. when you start building shit...then i can see your point.

whats wrong with high compression?

Attack at me? If so, LAUGH.

CTR pistons raise the compression so much more than people truely think.
Just think. B16 block is WAY shorter than a gsr/itr block, correct? yes?
Compression calcs online are off too.

F a CTR style piston. A 'p30/pr3' style is a better suited application for what he wants to do.

Compression isn't everything anyways. On a NA setup, power is in the head.

The motor also came wit a nice header and skunk 2 intake mani. As far as the head like i said im thinking about the skunk 2 cams with aftermarket valve spring and retainers with a mild type r port. Then Finish it off with a good tune on hondata by inline pro.
i lost.

why is it so hard to research what makes power and to make a price list accordingly?

from zeal autowerks.com

stock b16a compression-10.29
stock b16 with CTR pistion has a compression of 11.91

but that is from a online compression calculator, so what would you reccommend to use for a "better" compression calculator.?

i only know of zealautowerks.

None.
It's late and I dont feel like searching for it.
There are plenty of threads on HT discussing the matter.
