I have a project LS/VTEC that I have been working on for about two months now if you want to know more.

Very nicely put. I know of a LS Vtec that I built about 2 years ago, and it's still running strong. If you want to see it...go see PePone's CRX.

i have a built ls now i built for spraying but i sold the kit and am considering puting a b16 head on. my bottom end has a new factory oil and water pump, all new bearings, eagle h-beam rods with arp bolts and 10.5-1 probe industries forged pistons. im not worried about the reving over 7 grand those rods arnt going anywhere im worried about the lubrication for the pistons. thanks for all the opinions. any others would be appretieated.

first off im not totally against the LS/VTEC conversion. i was actually considering it myself a few months back, but decided to stick with the straight LS. i was only tryin to warn that the conversion isn't a "miracle engine" it does have its weaknesses

My buddy built one before I knew him, 55K+ miles later and easily 75 passes down the 1/4 mile it finally started to have a little rod knock in it.
