Ls vtec smoking
I have an ls vtec in my car. The car smokes in high rpms and especially when v tec opens up. Its a blue smoke and it burns oil. I did a compression test and it came out 190 across the board so I figured I would replace the valve seals and head gasket which I did. The car still smokes. It has Oem p30 pistons and everything else in the block is stock. It has a b16a2 head. If anyone has input that would be great.

Generally no, which is why a compression test won't necessarily tell you anything about oil consumption. If you have poor compression you'll often have oil consumption, but you can have oil consumption without poor compression. The relationship between the rings and bore is different for oil control than for compression.

You're not listening to what I'm saying. You've replaced the valve seals, and the compression looks fine. The compression doesn't tell you about the oil control capability of the rings, so it stands to reason that the rings could be the problem.
