I went 13.2 in my poor man in a da.

I prefer poor man over all. It lasts a lot longer than a ls/vtec and it has oil squirters in hte block which you really need until you get to high HP. I pulled ls/vtec eg's all day long in my car and it was allllllll stock. Minus bolt ons and cams. (itr)

b16head=500 gsr block=800.last for a long time and having a block designed to support a vtec head> b16head=500 and ls block=300. having all kinds of fucked up rod to stroke ratio.

I also took by poor man to about 11k all the time with no problems.

and how ever said there is no replacement for displacement is retarded, both blocks are 1.8 letters.

If you're going for LS/VTEC, why not go B20/VTEC?

because the open dec design of a b20 is 10 times worse than a ls/vtec, it won't last long at all.

well kinda hard to say its all on what you want ls/vtec= more torque poor mans= not as much torque but higher rev.... personally i like ls/vtec the torque is nice oh and someone talked about no oil squirters on the ls ...put in forged aluminum pistons and you dont need squirters they disapate heat very quickly. i built a 13:1 ls vtec ..im expecting 220+ after tune ...it all comes down to the build both are great setups
