i have a few questions.., i want to swap out motors, not so much as in for performance but to know i have a new dependable motor. i currently have b18a1 with obd0 setup.., now the "a1" signifies what? everythin i run into is b1 or b2 or somethin.., b18b b20b..., if my setup is obd0 can a swap a b18b or b20b with obd0? or i have to change the engine and body harness?

B18a1 is just an older LS motor. Going from OBD0 to OBD 1 or 2 you will probably just need a jumper harness. No need to replace the harness.

how does obd (0,1,2)setup coordinate to have a b18a or b18b?

It has to do with sensors, ecu, ect.

so i should be able to drop a b18b or b20b with minimal issues..,

Yep, should have very minimal problems. Just get a Jumper harness for whatever ECU you are getting.

you dont need the jumper harness ive done this swap way to many times to count all you need is your intake manifold and sensors and your distributor and your good to go if you have a jdm b20 they have a knock sensor for the 9:6:1 motor that came from the odessey and the 8:8:1 is the us crv motor your stock ls ecu will run it just fine just get a adj fuel pressure regulator bump your pressure from 42 to 48 and your good to go hope this helped out a bit
