Re: Mustang Questions
89-92. My friend said something about the 93 haveing flat heads or something i cant remember what he said exactly but he said get 89-92 and not the 93. I wouldnt mind having a notch or hatch. I dont want a 4 cylinder though its gotta be the V8. I dont wanna have to Turbo or Supercharge my engine to get power i want an N/A engine.

Re: Mustang Questions
It might not have been the heads. maybe pistons or something. Idk honestly i forgot. but he has 3 mustang 5.0's so i took his word for it being as i never owned one. I also like the Mercury capris like the 88 ones and the ford probes with the KZ engine. If anyone knows anyone wanting to trade for a Mustang, probe, miata, capri, or something else fast and 2 door for my car let me know.

Re: Mustang Questions
79-84 had the ed or e(not sure turd pos heads)
85 gt had the 4v head. I cant remember the correct terminology, think swirl port is correct though.
86 cant recall, possibly this is the e5 head or something? possibly correct.
87 first year for the e7te head till 95.
It doesnt matter though. I have given away 3 sets of e7 turds away last summer alone.
92-96 explorers had the gt40 heads
97-99 exploreres had the gt40p heads, aka p heads.
P heads have a odd spark plug angle and require for you to be a little bit more aware of what headers to run. bbk's fit perfect. I droped my long tubes in from the top in a hour I was on the road.
P heads also allow the most flow out of any ford 5.0 cast iron head. It will only be by a few cfm's but still flow more.
diyporting.com is a good website to dinker around on for the e7 heads and head mods.

Re: Mustang Questions
you should use a c4. a c6 wont fit in a mustang II. a 373 would be the best gear for the car. if you need a trans lemme know.we can put one together for you. also if you want a good rear end you sould use a 8 or 9 inch out of a fairlane or maverick. 53 inches from flange to flange. an 8.8 will also fit out of an explorer. if your not plannin on racing it alot, you could use a 7.5 out of a ranger. if you need anything.... pm me or call me at rocket performance... 757 596 8768. we have a few ford parts. tell him yanko
