On a D series, yeah all the time. Not as much for B series, but obd-0 they are infamous.

check:
-Check your fuses under the hood
-Check your fuses under the dash
-With the doors shut, turn the key to the "On" Position without starting the car. Listen for your main fuel relay to click. It is located below the dash in the driver's kick panel.
-With the doors shut, turn the key to the "On" Position without starting the car. Listen for your fuel pump to make noise (it is located under the center of your rear seats, but you should be able to hear a slight humming noise for about 2-3 seconds while it primes the system.)
-Pull your valve cover off to make sure your Tbelt is still attached
-Remove your distributer cap to make sure the rotor button is still attached

report findings

Someone with some actual car knowledge.

Come back to use and report findings. From my experience(and lack of your details) it sounds like the timing belt or it could the distributor igniter and/or coil.

ignition module would be my guess. same thing happened to me when i was at nopi in rockingham a couple of years ago. car would just crank and crank and crank and never turn over. i had to but one down there. that was $100 but it fired right up
