I wasn't refering to the fact that it was SOHC or DOHC. When I say it switches to a second cam, I mean the 3rd cam lobe jack asses.

go to howstuffworks.com, i think they have some thing on vtec, and vtec is very noticable in sohc, just pull the airbox off and its just as loud as my h.

my vtec doesnt work either due to non-working speedometer. anyone got a extra speedo cable for a 88 crx
