Default NEED help w/ single vtec

My motor acts real funny when i drive it...like it don't wanna move...with the motor running i pulled out each spark plug wire and got a reaction as if the motor was gonna cut off...it did that with all the cylinders but the 4th...the motor just kept running...which is wats not suppose 2 happen...can someone tell me what is the problem??????????

the motor is running with one spark plug because the crank has enough momentum built up, even burning on one cylinder it is able to spin 2 revolutions without falling below the cranking rpm..


Check your compression... Maybe you have low compression. Are there any other symptoms? Does it smoke at all? Do you have any oil in your coolant, or coolant in your oil? I need more information to tell you whats wrong with your sohc...

Yeah it blows out a whiteish color smoke. . . a mechanic told me 2 change the rotor and check the timing. . Yes its getting spark. . Are any of u in richmond 2 come take a look at it?

It could be anything.

Spark plugs, wires, distributer, cap, rotor, ignition, ect. Get a manual and troubleshoot.
