Whatever you do make sure you get a new fuel strainer,or your just going to end up doing it all over again. Not to mention the warranty will most likely be void if you dont replace the strainer(sox).

i agree with that as well. the stock fpr cannot handle the added flow of the 255 pump

make sure that you get this problem fixed before you attempt to install a turbo kit.

Ok so wtf, if you arent staying stock, why not upgrade the fuel pump. It will help you on your boosted car, because you are going to be fucking with fuel components anyways, might as well have it upgraded while you have to.

Just about every honda is going to be modded and it's always better to upgrade when you're replacing a part.
ON this site. I'll clarify better next time

If He's not changing injectors or the fuel pressure there won't be any smoke or overcomsumption of fuel. The pump is just more efficient.
I've used the 255 on all my cars. n/a, boosted, stock, all with no problems

The presure is not being increaced nor is the injector pulse width.
I still vote to replace with the 255.

WHY? At the least, it is just plain overkill. There is no reason for 255 @ 8lbs like he stated (actually, a stock pump will work fine here). There is definitely no reason for more than a stock pump with it being stock.

You are either lying or did not realize the difference the pump made on all your cars.

The only reason the thought was brought up was the idea of spending 99 on a pump form e-bay.

The pump has the "ability" to pump more fuel. The pressure in the rail is not increased unless you use a fpr to do so. At this moment in my daily I have a stock p06 map with oem fpr and 270 injectors.

The smoke is not present nor is the bad fuel mileage/over consumption. I'm getting 30+mpg as I stated before. Do yo have a specific setup or example of these situations?
