it sounds identical to the prob i had w/ the impala. it would drive fine just w/out power or top end. I was limited to about 50mph and it was an auto. I'd say it's a best bet. a cat from autozone is like 40. nemore and i'd go w/ a high flow which is like 75ish i believe.

Is'nt that kinda pricey since some one said you can get a cat for 40 bucks, thats alot of labor cost.

no, its not. i assume their rate is 60/hr....thats an hour labor plus the cat and markup/materials.

just cause someone can get something for a certain price doesnt mean they can sell it for that. i am required to sell alot of things for a certain price minimum. its marketing.

and most CATCO universal cats are bout 60 bucks......

Or not! Well it was a temporary fix for a bit till it started again(Just on and off now tho at random times). I replaced the 02 sensor originally, and since it started again ive replaced the MAF and had the exhaust checked out and told it was perfectly fine.

So im not sure, gunna check the ECU for codes, hopefully something turns up, until then any got any other ideas in case that dont work out?
