my integra is stuck in 3rd gear but the shifter stills moves back and fourth like its in neutral i was thinking it was the clutch. it sometimes grinds in 5 gear and it pops out sometimes after going over 80mph. tryin to see what the exact problem im thinking maybe the shifter folk inside transmission if not the clutch

I'm with lord h. More than likely something inside the trans is broke. Will it come out of third if the car isn't running?

If the clutch was the problem, you couldn't move it around like its in neutral if its stuck in third, because the clutch isnt part of the transmission. You're saying that the shifter and transmission are able to do separate things, which has nothing to do with the clutch. Contrary to what you might think, the clutch doesn't decouple the shifter from the transmission.
