ok so just a few more questions if you dont mind. the red/blue wire off the dimmer relay is going to be loacted where the fusebox under the hood its correct? (like i siad i was never any good with diagrams and need the lamens terms lol) also, the bulbs i got are these off ebay since i couldnt find any in any of the auto parts stores that are open on sundays when i decided to do this:

Luminics JDM Yellow Headlight Bulbs
Bulb Type: H1
Wattage (draw): 55
Wattage (output): 130
Color: JDM Yellow
Color Temp: 2500K

would those work as a lower wattage light or should i try to find something lower?

Yeah, it looks like the red/blu is in the underhood fusebox harness..
Try those bulbs, see how bright they are.. if they're yellow they shouldn't appear as bright as the same output bulb in white, etc.

well i appreciate all your help. i wont get a chance to try to wire it today as i already have plans and plus the bulbs havent come in yet. tomorrow ill wire it up to see if its going to work as planned and ill get back to you and let oyu know how the final product turns out once i get the bulbs in. thanks!

ok another question, if i wanted this on a switch so i can turn it off completely if i wanted, where would i tap that into?

Put the switch inline with the pink wire, that way the DRL module will think the ignition isn't on, so it won't turn them on.

so the results are in...

complete success! i got the bulbs in today and installed them and it looks sweetass. got it all wired up so they go off when the high's come on and got them on a temporary switch until i can get an oem honda fog switch. fabrik8, i appreciate all the help you gave me, i wouldntve gotten this far without it. thanks!
