im taking my battery to autozone now to get it checked, if it checks out ok, im gonna have to replace the altenato again. Does anyone have the tool u use for taking the tensison off and for putting it back on? i cant remember what it is called but you guys get the idea of what i mean.... if anyone does have on i can borrow i will greatly apprceiate it

If you have a tiny bit of electrical skills and a multimeter I can tell how to check and see if your alternator is bad.
I dont know if you pulled the negative cable off the battery or not but that will really hurt some new cars. The battery absorbs any electrical spikes and on some cars doing that will fry the ECM, bulbs, fuses, and sensors.

I just got the battery back and it is good, so the alternator is bad. I dont have a multimeter anymore either. Im sure it is the alternator though... sucks cause i really dont feel like replacing it today.... oh well. does anyone have that tool?????
