I relocated my battery to the trunk. Ran cut off switch. Main power comes off switch and meets a junction box. Which then goes to the main power off harness and to 3 wires that were previously plugs by battery. My problem is when i turn the key off the car still has power constintly. any ideas?

sorry i should of been more detailed. When i cut the switch(at the back of car) off obviously everything cuts off. When the cut off switch is on every thing should run normal. Which it is, but when i cut the actual key in ignition to off. The lights, gauge cluster, radio, etc.. has power which it shouldnt. Its like the accesories stay on constantly even though ignition is off and key is out

You definetly have it wired wrong. When I relocated my battery to the trunk I hooked up any wires that where on the positive terminal to the alt and then ran a 4awg wire to the rear of the car. If you are attempting to add a cut off switch ...........it should be in series with the wire coming from the alt to the rear of the car "your new batt feed".
ALT>4awg conductor>cut off swicht>battery
I hope that made sense.

wait... so you ran the fuse box wiring (3 wires) to the alternator? im confused
my setup is i cut all the connectors and ran them to a junction box on my firewall (1 big off fuse box and 2 little.also the one off alternator and the 4 guage obviously from starter) then ran 4guage to battery in back.
