why not jack the car up or take it to a muffler shop and say my shit rattles...tell me whats wrong...then for a couple bucks they can fix it..
and then it will be done properly
and like alex said..you can remove them..who cares...they are only there to stop heat from getting to certain parts of your car..

I used to work at big als, and essentially all we did was cut them off with a torch, or bend them up and out of the way with a prybar. You could do the second option for free. No sense in paying for that.

dont take off the heat shield. the old shop i worked at in KS we had a girl come in who had aftermarket exhaust, think it was ti-c or something, but she had the heat shield off...needless to say, i found out that day that a gas tank is kind of heavy/awkward lifting by yourself

dont take off the heat shield. the old shop i worked at in KS we had a girl come in who had aftermarket exhaust, think it was ti-c or something, but she had the heat shield off...needless to say, i found out that day that a gas tank is kind of heavy/awkward lifting by yourself
