its supposed to snap on very tight. place plastic bushing on table then press shifter into it.

I did what you said and the bushing broke but thanks for the help. I'll just go out and buy the cusco one

weird...ive had both styles. i remembered plastic bushing was really tight, but went on. i think i took a heat gun to it.

maybe your plastic bushing got cold

the bushngs will fit there just a bitch to get the lip around the ball on the shifter i hae relaced three off them on my two 240's, two were stock one was a ebay short throw, just put a lil force on it
