have you pulled the shift boot off and looked at the cables? Also check the shifter bracket, IIRC they may be made out of plastic and can break. Broke one in a 2000 focus twice but that was before Ford redsigned the bracket in 02.
I did, but this was in the parking lot of my gym @ night. I didn'nt see any pastic or metal broken in there. Were you on focus ilusions?
