Yes, higher cylinder temps require a colder plug range to conduct heat away from the plug tip. Otherwise you have a glow plug instead of a spark plug. What heat range depends on the amount of boost and some other factors, but there are easy commonly followed rules that you can use when selecting a different heat range.

I have a v2 on my maxima and I run copper NGK's one heat range cooler than stock. I run ~11psi.
