Did you test the coil to make sure that it was good?

So, the car now will turn over, but it does not have spark correct? I would unplug the coil wire from the distributor cap and put a test light into the plug wire and have some one crank the car to make 100% sure that the coil is making a spark.

Just because you received a new coil does not mean that the part was f'ed from the store.

You still did not answer my question. Regardless that the car is not getting spark will the engine turn over? Is the starter working like it should?

damn mayne.it woulda been cheaper 2 let some1 look at it.
before u try a it an start it again
1 take number 1 plug out
2 find u a long plastic straw and wit (dizzy unplugged) get some1 to bump ign.till piston is at top dead center.(youll feel a rbrush of air an your straw will sit at its highest
3 your rotor button should be pointing towards the 1 pos. on your cap.(a lil before)
then install everything correctley casue im 90% sure u done skipped timing hit me again after u do that.

p.s once everything is installed put a test light on the (+) side of the coil then take the ground clip an use it in reverse tip on (+) clip on neg. to see if u got a ground.

well all in all since i was able to take everything back, total cost was 200, for new dizzy and plug wires, however, both wont be here for several days, and yes starter was working normal, just wasnt getting spark at this point, pretty sure ignition coil wire was it because in its condition, theres no way it was making up. will update once i get all the parts back, distributer was missing a bolt in the cap, ignition coil wire was badly corroded. cost of a tow was gonna be 75,

last time i tried to start car, it was puttering a little in between the cranking, kinda like a cough, definately spark issues. if it doesnt start after the new parts, its going to a shop, just limited on my unemployment checks for what i can afford at any given time.

ill do the straw deal when parts come in and update post, thank you again

i had this trouble with an ls integra i had couple years back, after installing new engine, distributer died. so i popped a new one on and it worked with no problems, didnt do anything with timing guess i got lucky!
