is there anyway to convert a '95 coupe to a targa top...i havent seen it done and i was just woundering if its possible and how hard it is

ive got a saw and my boy can weld some stuff up. we can make it a targa top in the front and rear, leave the center for a roll bar. Only thing is it will not go back on.

Ever wonder why a del sol is heavier than a hatch of the same year, even though the sol has a shorter wheelbase? It's all the weight in the bottom chassis section to help get back some of the lost stiffness from the targa top. Sols are similar enough that you could transplant the top, frame, and doors onto a coupe probably, but you'd still have to reinforce the crap out of the chassis. A T Top setup is much more ideal, you still keep some of the roof integrity.
