Trouble replacing the lug stud. PLEASE HELP
Im replacing one of the driver side studs on my da integra. Do I need to remove the entire fixture and put it in a vise, or is there a trick to it?

Technically you are supposed to remove it and press the old out and the new in. I have never looked at DA hubs but do you have space to even work around the hub. I know the hub had to be separated to get the lugs out on my crx because there wasnt enough room to get the old lug out.

Yea I dont have room to do much of anything. So your saying I need to put the whole swing arm or whatever in a press to get the hub off?

Looks like you may be able to grind an access notch at your discretion. I would personally pull the hub.

Knock the old stud out. (its a bitch).
Protip, cut the new studs 'seat' into a D shape and insert. Flat rate time on it is ~2 hours plus the price of new bearings/seals/whatever the fuck you break. If you cut the D then you can do it in 10-15 minutes.

I have to say I have sucessfully "notched" a knuckle before to get extended studs in the front and afterwards ran a forged internal b20vtec with no issues on strength!
