You should really just do things right and not half ass it.. Pistons are your way to go.. Im sure you wont be sorry you did low compression pistons.

I was just thinking the same thing.

Normally, what do you do when you want to lower compression??

You change pistons. NOT stack head gaskets.

Gotta agree with everyone about that throwing a thicker gasket on there... definitely a bad way to go. Pistons are usually the way to go but let me ask... how did you determine your static c/r?
