Missed the plugs comment when you post every sentence... a stuck valve will usually lower compression, a proper compression check shows the symptoms of this, but yea if you have 2 stuck valves I could see that possible.

It could also still be the icm. Or even a crank position sensor. Unless you were saying you bought a whole new distributor. If that was the case I would have that checked(assuming it was under warranty).

I have a 00 type r in a eg it has a awful miss also when running cylinder 3-4 header tube are barley warm when cylinder 1-2 are like 400 degrees compression test shows 180 psi in all four cylinders i have switched the injectors to see if it was injector issue but same thing i have also cleaned the injectors and re installed them any help would be great NO DUMB COMMENTS looking for advise
