The S2000 selenoid comes off of a bigger motor, therefore resulting in a much larger-harder-hitting vtek engagement. Welcome to knowing what you are talking about, gosh. I'm just trying to help this man make his vtek stronger....

i used the vtec solonoid off of my JDM NSX-R to make my vtec pop nastier

The vtec hit is directly related to the orfice size in the solenoid. IIRC (which I do), the orfice in the Type R solenoid is like 0.015" larger...

Um, the NSX and NSX-R have the same solenoid. Take your mis-information elsewhere.

Yeah I know, I bored mine out larger though. Forgot to tell him it requires slight modification. Don't worry about a larger orfice after boring it out the added clearence creates less friction and allows the orfice to slide faster for a faster vtek. Now instead of pop, it POPs.

nsx souinds NASTY
a little too expensive for my taste though.
a type-r solenoid sounds good.
anyone know where i can get one, and around how much itll cost?
also, what else would i need?
