The S2000 selenoid comes off of a bigger motor, therefore resulting in a much larger-harder-hitting vtek engagement. Welcome to knowing what you are talking about, gosh. I'm just trying to help this man make his vtek stronger....

The vtec hit is directly related to the orfice size in the solenoid. IIRC (which I do), the orfice in the Type R solenoid is like 0.015" larger...

Yeah I know, I bored mine out larger though. Forgot to tell him it requires slight modification. Don't worry about a larger orfice after boring it out the added clearence creates less friction and allows the orfice to slide faster for a faster vtek. Now instead of pop, it POPs.
