right.... well itr (b18c5) is a great motor buts its not the top of line. there are better and more power motors out there. dont get me wrong a itr is awesome. it really depends on what you want as far as mods go. if you want n/a that would be a great motor. if you want boost go with a lower comp. motor like ls or b20. its all about your plans and finances. which money is a big deal with alot of people.

ok i get it now thanks. ill look more into the k20. so the b16 block in it now does nothing for it?

dude i have no idea y you have a b16 bottom with an Ls head.... the oil feeds are diff and yea b16 bottom is doing you nothing without the vtec head. ive never even heard of a b16 with ls head....

hang on i fucked up its a b16 block with a gsr head. and it was like this when i bought it.

o ok lol i was about to say.... yea thats different. thats a lil better than a regular b16. the gsr has higher compression than the b16 head so its lil better power

ok good. i have not been driving because it needs a new flywheel. when im in 1st gear the motor jumps and i just got all new motor mounts for it

Research is the best thing you can do. Stock Ls motor can handle about 7-10lbs of boost safely. If you wanna go the all motor way you could always do ITBs just plan on having alot of tuning done. It really all depends on how much money you have to spend. Not to mention a Good suspension would be better before doing any motor work. Just my .02. you cant go faster if you cant keep the wheels on the ground

sounds like someone took a b18 bottom and a b16 top put it in their car, took what was left and put it in that car and sold it
