you NEED one. Our honda oil systems reach near 100psi and that much pressure will wear/blow out the oild seals quickly. that f7 flange is perfect for your setup. turbo's need around 30psi to remain oiled but not blow out seals. That flange will do the job. Changing to the smaller -3 lines will lower the pressure but sometimes it's still not enough.

I never took the tags off the civic & the turbos been on for about 2 months now almost... I just got the tranny back. Ill be putting it back tomarrow evening

i put one on every turbo Honda i work on or build,regardless of if it has a -3 or -4 feed.i've seen it make a smoking,cheapo turbo stop bpushing oil past the seals.
ball bearing turbos require a different size(smaller) restrictor than bushing turbos,so be carefull when buying.

yes sir .. oil restrictor to the rescue...I just bought one myself upon purchasing a new turbo...the turbonetics had a built in one..but if your running a inexpensive one , more then likely its not built in...good decission ..we don't want no smoke!

My last Ebay turbo smoked like a damn frieght train and leaked alot of oil..
