Re: Work truck messing up..
I know the consensus appears to be towards the ignition coil but 15k miles is a bit soon for it to go I would still recommend checking your fuel pressure, a vapor lock will happen when there is more ethanol in mix (summer gas blend) and the line pressure is low (old fuel pump or vacuum leak), it will take time (1hr+ driving) and will be exacerbated by the high temps outside, it will choke on gasoline vapors while sitting and idling, ie. waiting for the light. Just my 2 cents.

Also to euthurs...the rough idle has been happening for several tanks of gas and at any fuel level....I will take it into consideration though thank you sir.

Alright...
So first this morning I switched the ICM out and ran it. I got it hot...it was early so it wasnt as hot as it has been so it didnt cut off but it was still idling rough. So I said fuck it and put another 50 bucks in it and went ahead and switched out the ignition coil.
Now idle if anything is worse. Feels like its going to shut off again.
Worst part is I realized the ICM I had in there was under warranty but now that I alread buy Advance Autos in there they wont take it back after you use it I guess so that was 45.00 wasted.
So long story short I dont believe the ICM or the Coil were the problems.
Other people are now telling me to clean the IAC and the Throttle Body out....I dont see this helping much....
Any more ideas???

The throttle body shouldn't be gunked up (but if it is, clean it...) and the IACV doesn't affect anything except at idle. I'm still thinking you have a sensor problem.
