Re: zc boost?
putting 20 on a zc is plain stupid. If youre going to do that, please by all means video tape it so everyone who told you it was a stupid thing to do can laugh in your face.

theres a lot of idiots in this thread...everyone is saying a Zc motor cant handle 20psi on stock internals..and havent even begun to touch the topic of what size turbo,or the flow effenciency of the Turbo.
everyone just hears "20psi" and automatically assumes thats a "lot"...20psi on a small ass T25 aint shit,compared to a T3/T4 or Gt40.
so before you let some of these people who dont know what the fuck you are talking about...go on hondatech.com,and ask people there..they will be able to help you.
my opinion : if you want to put down 220whp (a little less,or more) then you could use the ZC motor..on the stock block,it will hold that much power..ive seen numerous people make that much...they usually use a t3 w/ a 57 trim...but it doesnt last as long,as say a b series motor..it was just how the engine was designed...if you can..get a hold of a D16Z6..they can handle 250whp and sometimes 300whp on a stock block.

He is talking about a DOHC ZC motor with stock internals with 20 psi.. Its just stupid. The last year that motor was made was in 1991. And I can bet it has the original miles. Meaning it wasnt rebuilt. So what do you mean the motor can handle it?? Just cause it may be able to handle it for a day or two..

yall are missing the point, and not answering his question..yall are saying its "Stupid".....he DIDNT ask if it was a dumb idea..he asked would it work...the short and simple answer is YES it will work..its been done...but yall arent beating around the bush, saying it wont last for long..who gives a fuck..you can pick up another Zc swap for 300 to 400 bucks..
like i said before..yall look at PSI,and dont look at CFM's,flow effenciency,or A/R's...20psi on a T25 isnt shit,compared to a T3/t4 or even a straight T3.
he's better off getting advice from another website..cus most people in this thread, dont even know what an A/R or trim on a turbo is.

Re: zc boost?
Ok If this Project was being done by someone that knew what they were doing and a little bit of money to put into it then yeah it WILL work.. For how long But this is a Damn high schooler with a stock ZC that is talking shit about how a ZC will last under 20 psi.. Bottom line it will not last if it isnt properly done right.. Who ever puts 20 psi on a ZC, LS, B20 ...ect with stock internals must not care about the motor to much... I dont care what size turbo.
