I'm working with some aluminum piping and will need to weld some flanges and bungs.

Any good shops that can weld aluminum? Not looking for anything overly price either hehe

Shickel Machine shop in Bridgewater will do it but I am sure they are pricey.

I think you'll have a hard time finding somewhere that's good and cheap.How soon are you needing it done?I'm pretty sure Marshall can do it,but not sure how backed up he is.I can do it if you're okay with waiting until about fall

I called them the other day, they asked to see the pipes before they can give an estimate. He wasn't sure what exactly I was trying to accomplish hehe.

I also called Silversprings, they would be able to do it, around $40 an hour. Which doesn't sound too bad if they can weld the whole 5 bungs in that time hehe.

Yeah, I've been a bit suprised that there are not many people that can do it in this area. I'm learning to weld with a wirefed, but with aluminum need a TIG so that makes things harder .

As for timing, uh here in the next month or so. I got a buddy from NC that said he could help me, but I figured I would look around locally before I go with that...

call Broadway Metal Works. i just texted my dad and asked if they do any custom aluminum welding and he said yes, so i guess you would have to give them the details to find out for sure. i dont know if they normally do stuff like youre looking for or not.

Just stopped by a place yesterday and ask them if they could weld up some IC pipes for me and I mentioned about possibly doing them in aluminum and they told me they could aluminum too. place is in waynesboro and its called Eddie's Diesel 540-949-4188
