Anyone locally do sandblasting?

you need very low pressure it sounds like and there is alot of different blast media available but for what you are describing plain old sand should be fine.

you can get a self contained blast funnel with a lid for cheap (I think around $30) -just add sand and air. place the pieces on a screen and put it over a bucket to catch the sand for reuse.
