anyone up for some action?
Anyone up for some action this weekend. Looking at going to Fast Freddies on Sat and then the track on Sun (Shelor dragstrip). A buddy of mine is coming in town with his car. Anyone want to do some racing?

Do they ever prep the track at NB good. Last few times I have been there the street hooked better than the track did. AWD cars were spinning all four tires in two gears. What joke. And to boot they were not fast awd cars.

Anyone want to go to Shelor's dragstrip on Sunday? My buddy is wanting me to get some v8 guys up there. I will pay to see them bust his ass.

i've hit 1.6's at nb on street tires, talk to one of the officials and they'll let you run in the groove as opposed to running from that dumb offset cone they put at the line..

No cones this year you can line up in the groove all you want but it won't matter...... I cut 1.80 60fts this weekend in Rockingham and cut 2.0s in NB all the time. I even put my car on the trailor once this year because Daniel (the owner) told the officials not to spray the track any more.

Mooresville, NC is a nice hooking track if you dont mind the drive and the staging lanes are down hill so you can litterally coast right up to the staging beams if you want (no heat soak). Same way with Farmington but its further to drive and Farmington is a nice track since they remodeld it (Bristol jr comes to mind).
