Apartments in Harrisonburg.
I would like to have everyones input on which apartments are the best in the area. I'm looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment. I'm trying to stay out of anywhere near student housing. I just started working nights at RMH so I need somewhere thats quiet. Everyones help is greatly appreciated.

I rented an apartment over on Chicago Ave. It was a cheap one bedroom apartment that was ok. Walls were thin though and you could hear the neighbors. But there are other apartments around that area that are decently priced and not a bad neighborhood.
I also checked out the apartments on Reservoir just above the street from Hardees right before you get to the bridge/overpass and they were fairly nice and decently priced.

I live in a one bedroom apt on chicago for 455 a month. With the thin walls it sounds like the one JB is talking about. I live on the backside so it doesnt seem as much of an apartment complex either. PM me if you want details.

Don't know what your budget is, but there are some nice condos/apartments that have just been built behind joe bowman, between that and reservoir street.
They are currently building some very nice apartments/condos downtown too.
I've been looking at different places for a while, but havn't pulled the trigger as I plan on moving out of the area w/in a year once I get my degree.
Just drive around and make calls, check the paper too. Always a ton of stuff in there.

I just moved outta the burg 3 weeks ago. A cousin of mine is living out port republic about 3 miles off of boyers road. its close to where they are building the new hospital and theres an apartment complex there with all kinds of families and such, no students from what I could tell.
