translation: "I have enough money to buy an amp and a subwoofer, what combo would be the most obnoxious to others around me?"

Default Re: BASS

the more power the have, the louder. the more surface area (# of subs) you have, the louder. i'm pretty sure you can search around on the net. but check this beast out: http://www.mtxaudio.com/caraudio/pro...jackHammer.cfm

I had a Stroker back in the day but I never was able to utilize it in my own car... It was too much for me. I like everything to be well balanced, and I want more than just assloads of bass. My sisters boyfriend years ago was running two of them in his car, and for something that was built by what I would consider to be an amateur, I could only take so much of it. I've sat in competition cars before--many times... and those Stroker's STILL put a number on me.

To the original poster: Why the fuck would your goal be to bust the glass? Seriously. If the money is really not an issue, you wouldn't be on the internet trying to figure it out... You would have dropped your car off at an audio shop and let THEM figure it out.

tell that to my friend who had 2 15" pioneer subs in the back of his crx (he was competing at an iasca event at the time) and another friend that had 4 10's and 2 12's in an old datsun b210, athough it was his rear side glass that broke.

Get 2 Adire Audio Tumults or Brahmas. They will do they job.

The loudest subs that are reasonable in size are the RE XXX or AA Brahma/Tumult or of course JL W7's. The best warranty, quality and prices are Elemental Designs. Memphis also makes some big ass subs.

Busting the back glass out would be simple with these subs. AA did over 160 DB's with one Tumult.

12/13.5 JL W7... 1000/1.... or two 500/1... or 1 500/1 if that's all you can afford...

Fash00 here on the forums has had some incredibly loud shit with the above combos.... the quality of sound is unbelievable as well.
