13.9 at 96mph, yeah something doesn't seem right with the mph. I ran a 14.9 at 96mph at bristol with it sputtering and missing the last few hundred feet because the fuel pump was crapping out.

So fare I have only put the motor oil in but it kept the engine cooler then the Mobil 1 did so I'm happy with it. I will put the ATF in today or tomorrow before going back, at the end of the night I was missing 2nd, I think the fluid had had enough of WOT shifting

Yah my first couple time I rolled back off the line...

My fix for it was waiting for the two people racing to cross the line then I did my burn out and rolled to the line but only made it to the line as the other guy was finishing up setting the two lights then as soon as I hit the line the tree started to drop not giving me time to roll back.

I should be trapping 105-106 area, talked to some guys it may be a boost leak. Some are saying that it will lower your MPH a lot so I guess when I get to Bristol I hook it up to my brothers compressor and see...

I should be at about 260-270 fwhp now.

icic

96 trap...is roughly 190-200fwhp. also depending on if you deep staged or not, lost traction in 1st and 2nd ( which you most likely did because of torque and fwd).

it could possibly be a boost leak or perhaps (gasp) loose of static compression.

hope its a boost leak though.

gluck finding the problem. Go to vmp or a better track than bristol next time. It might be further...but i gaurentee better times with all things equal.

cosmo: I hate Neons. But i like srt4's.

how do you come up with trap speed correlation to WHP?

i mean, a 1100lb car with 150 whp could trap those speeds
