Burning smell ??

Burning smell ??
On a 98 ford tarus..new breaks all the rotors turned...after an 2 hour long drive i had to pull over as i got flagged down...my right passenger side back tire was smoking..and it smelled of metel...and burning plastic.....checked for debris ( plastic bag or something from road ) calipers and breaks look ok....any idea ??

usually an easy fix, you could just take to advance for an core exchange..

WRONG.....well it was stuck..here's why..the little metel bar broke lose and apprently some how wedged itself to make them stick..fixed just by replacing that 2 doller part..

hard to picture which part but hey you got it fixed..
there is the little metel clip that secures the two....there like 5 bucks for 2 of them at advance.....its got a curve on one side..than the other you take pliarers and pull into a hole to secure it....
